Top Gear Auto Service was started for one reason: most people leave a repair shop wondering if they got the right diagnosis, paid the right price, and got the work they actually needed. That uncertainty is what we're trying to fix.
Our story
A shop built around transparency
Bringing your vehicle to a repair shop can feel overwhelming, especially when you're wondering whether you chose the right one. We get it — that's exactly why we started this business. Vehicle maintenance can be stressful, and we want to make it easier. We show you the work before we do it, explain what we found, and let you make the call.
Every estimate is in writing. Every part we replace is available for you to see. If something else turns up while we're working, we stop and call you before adding to the bill.
What we do
Diagnose first. Repair what's needed. No upsells.
We're a full-service auto repair shop in Orem, UT. We work on most makes and models — domestic and import, gas and diesel. Our diagnostic service is a flat $85, and that fee is rolled into any repair totaling $500 or more.
We invest in factory-grade scan tools and ADAS calibration equipment so we can do work other shops have to send out. That keeps your vehicle in our hands from start to finish — no chain of third parties, no finger-pointing if something goes wrong.
