Maintenance & Tires
Routine care. Long-lived vehicles.
Most major repairs start as small maintenance items that got skipped. An oil change every 5,000 miles costs less than one engine rebuild. A tire rotation every 5,000 miles roughly doubles the life of your tires. We do this work fast, honestly, and without the upsell games.
Oil changes
The cheapest insurance you can buy
Modern engines run hotter and tighter than ever. Oil that's gone too long breaks down, sludges, and stops protecting bearings. We use the oil weight and spec your manufacturer requires — full synthetic where the engine demands it, conventional where that's appropriate — and we'll show you the dipstick before and after.
Every oil change includes a quick visual inspection: belts, hoses, fluids, tire tread depth, brake pad thickness. If we see something that's nearly due, we'll mention it. If we don't see anything, we'll tell you that too.
Tire services
Rotation, balance, alignment, replacement
Tires that aren't rotated wear unevenly. Tires that aren't balanced shake your steering wheel. A vehicle out of alignment can chew through a new set of tires in 10,000 miles instead of 50,000.
- Tire rotation (recommended every 5,000 miles)
- Wheel balancing (when you feel vibration at highway speed)
- Tire replacement (we'll match or beat tire shop pricing on most brands)
- Patch and plug for repairable punctures
- TPMS sensor service when lights are on
Why bring it in
The car is telling you something
If the steering wheel shakes at 60 mph, that's a balance issue. If it shakes when braking, that's brake or rotor. If you hear a hum that gets louder with speed, that's likely a wheel bearing or a tire that's worn unevenly. We diagnose the source, not the symptom.
